17th Century Westerwald Stoneware Jug c1640

An attractive small German stoneware jug. Decorated simply with patterned cordons and round stamps. Glazed around the decorated features in cobalt.

Light surface wear and crazing throughout. 2 restored chips to the mouth - one shallow & one large. Handle restored.
