A well decorated English, mid-late 14th century earthenware floor tile, encaustic / slip decorated with stylized flowers in a quatrefoil pattern. The corner of an interlaced star in the center corner. Almost certainly made in Penn.

Condition: historical wear. Good full decoration remaining, although worn. Chipped corners, edge chips, firing imperfections, etc. Please check photos carefully.
