An excellent and rare example of an early Langerwehe footed jug / beaker. Sitting on 3 applied feet, the jug is simply decorated with its turning lines, a couple of raised cordons and an oversized lip. Glazed with an iron englobe, typical to Langerwehe ware.
Condition: Chip to one foot. Areas of restoration to either side of the mouth to replace two large triangular shapes losses. Deformed shape at the top, possibly indicating this was a waster. General surface wear.
