An early Leach Pottery, St Ives c1925, earthenware “Rhyme” tankard. Most likely thrown and inscribed by Michael Cardew, this charming example reflects the formative years of the St Ives tradition.

A couple of small glaze chips. Chips/fritting to the rim. Very small edge of professional restoration to the curled lip at the base of the handle.
