A rare mid 18th century English delft strainer bowl. The interior with 4 rings of perforations around a central hole, decorated in a starburst pattern bordered by Chinese inspired shaped trellis panels, blue reserves with graffito scrolls, and butterflies. The exterior filled with a large flowering scroll and a drainage slot.

Condition: Fritting and minor chips to the rim. Large chip to the rim. A triangular piece re-stuck above the spout (with chips) and short hairline below. Crazing.
