A very rare opposing pair of late 18th century Delft tiles, decorated in manganese with a cow and a bull. Possibly Rotterdam.
Both 12.5cm high. Left 12.7cm wide. Right 13cm wide.
Pre 2002 sticker for Testa Antiqua, Rockanje ƒ2900 (rough equivalent of £1400 today)
Sticker for Lempertz auction.
Chipping around the edges and corners. Left most edge chamfered. Surface wear and pitting.
